Push America
Push America was founded in 1977 after consulting Br. Thomas H. Sayre, a Brother involved in the development of handicapped-accessable playgrounds. Br. Sayre's inspiration was the cornerstone for Push America, which has been flourishing as the only Fraternity-owned and operated philanthropy in the nation.

Journey of Hope
Each summer 75 undergraduate Pi Kappa Phi brothers endeavor to cycle across the United States to raise funds and awareness for people with disabilities. The three teams of 25 cyclists and 6 crew cover a total of 12,000 miles, crossing 32 states, and touching thousands of lives. While each day is spent cycling between camps, each evening is spent interacting with those who the trip is all about.

Build America
In 2003 a new national summer push event was formed, Build America. Build America is a 6 week trip consisting of Pi Kappa Phi members dedicated to improving the lives of others through construction. These members will travel to camps across the country building and improving camp facilities for people with disabilities. Just like other national summer events, the days hard work is rewarded by spending time with the campers.

Gear Up Florida is national summer event similiar to Journey of Hope. Over 2 weeks the team will traverse 800 miles across the state of Florida to raise awareness and understanding for people with disabilities.

- Each Journey of Hope cyclist rides approximately 75 miles a day.
- The trip began in 1987 with one 21 man team. Today, there are three teams of 25 cyclists and 6 crew members
- The trip annually raises $500,000
- Over 900 under-graduate Pi Kappa Phis have made the journey
- The trip lasts between 64-67 days.

The distinction of Pi Alpha is given to a brother who has completed a national summer Push event. The Delta Delta chapter is proud to present the 2008-2009 Pi Alphas of Truman State University.
